Mocha VNC Lite App Reviews

99.99% of the time I just want to connect to one of my servers. This app used to automatically bring me to the "connect" screen. No more... now you have to select it manually. Boooo.....

自分のPCがWindows XP Homeなのでリモートデスクトップを使えないため、PCにはrealVNCを インストールし、このアプリでiPhoneからWiFi経由でPCを操作しています。 iTunesの操作は「Remote」で問題ないのですが、スリープタイマーが無いのが玉に瑕。 なので、これを使って就寝前にPC上のスリープタイマーソフトを起動しています。 そのぐらいの簡単な操作が目的ですから、このLiteで必要十分です。

左から二つ目のアイコンのキーボードは何が使えるんだ？ リモートデスクトップ版といっしょならF1～F12に十字ボタンとescとtabとWinらしいが 正直、いらなくね？ 次の構成が１画面のキーボードだったらやりにくいドロップなんかの代わりにもなるし即買いなんだが 　↑ |Sh|Ct|Al| |E| ←↓→ |Z|X|C|V| |n| ShはShift、CtはCtrl、AlはAlt、Enは縦にEnter これだけあればほかのショートカットとかなくてもかなり使えるし。

I would have rated the app a bit higher but I am dissapointed because the lite version lacks the full keyboard and mouse support so the customer have no chance to encounter the biggest flaws of the full version before purchase. And vnc/rdp without cursor keys, esc, ctrl etc is generally useless so my rating is based on demonstrating the full version of the app. I have purchased the full version based on positive imression from a lite version and in the full version i have encountered that the keyboard is badly designed. There is a triangle in the corner to show additional keys, which are not independent from the menu and the main keyboard for instance if you activate only the additional keys than to open normal keyboard for some input you have to close key-bar, open menu and open keyboard and then key-bar on the top of the keyboard re-appears which is ok but to close only the main keyboard again you have to repeat the whole procedure in reverse order.

Keypad locks and you can not do anything.

Good for connect to server from iPhone

Evaluating VNC clients to connect to Apple Screen Sharing. So far, this is the only one that just wont connect at all.

App shows on the screen but will not open or delete it is telling me it is waiting when I tap it.

I give this rating for two reasons: 1) I used to be able to connect to my business servers and do real work. I cannot anymore. This makes it a toy not a business tool. 2) after upgrading to version 3, which came with huge limitations, the latest upgrade for me is now listed is as the "Lite" version. I purchased the FULL version. I guess Ive been downgraded and with version 3 given a bait-and-switch! I know, I know MochaSoft… I can get a refund from the Apple store. Still doesnt make your practices right.

Whats the deal with all of a sudden I cant minimize keyboard and thus cannot disconnect and connect to other devices! Only restarting phone will make it work temporarily!!!

Connects, but have to pay for mouse right button support. Get real.

For when you need an app that just works; this is where to look. It has a variety of useful features and Ive never had a problem with any of them across many different locations, platforms, and applications. Try it and youll love it!

I understand this is free, but making keyboard symbols non-functional is a little ridiculous. All passwords I use contain a symbol, makes this app non-functional.
