Mocha VNC Lite app good for
Good app to control my mother desktop when she is in trouble. :)
This is a really useful app, since with it you can control almost every main function of your Mac (or PC). The app still needs improvements, though, such as supporting 1920x1200 resolution (for iMacs...), featuring Apple Remote buttons, and more promptly refreshing the screen (as it is, sometimes you dont see the results of your "clicks" on the iPhone screen, even though they produce the correct effects on your computer.
Easy, fast, good. But is basic. For more solutions, just bay.
Wonderful application if you know what its intended for. A ctrl+alt+del shortcut would be a must for windows users.
Well i got headless ubuntu(linux) and with tightvnc server and this works nicely. However; jaadu doesnt and cost 5x this
Really easy to set up and use on leopard ( tells u how to set up at mochasoft.org/iPhone_vnc.htm)it took like 5 miniutes to set up! GReat for people that want to see what people are doing on the computer!
Some bad moments
The new version 3.0 does not work with Lion. Please, could you guys fix this bug or bring it back the 2.9 version.
Thank you
It used to work for Ubuntu but it works no more. Test done with working VNC clients on the same network.
The absence of right button is a limitation that almost make the control of the host impossible.
Uses with TightVnc and works very well.
Its impossible to work because the Keyboard is missing the Most essential keys!
Theres no support for VNC servers that require logins with username & password. It would be really helpful to accept URLs like vnc://me@myserver
Due to that issue, this app is completely useless for me. 1 star is minimum, here it is!
Sorry, no full version bought.
Was working great, now continually gives me "Out of Memory Errors", then crashes. Sometimes it says the screen is too big, too. This is with the same iPod, same OS (3.0), and same hosts as before the update. Hope theres another update soon... I would think twice about getting this update if everything is working for you right now. It renders the app utterly useless.
Update: Ive tried using a screen size of 640x480 on my host computer, but still no dice. Dont think its an issue with host screen size...
